Well I been thinking since I did the Tifa that I think(even though its my first attempt) I am better at drawing the way I drew Tifa then my old way. What I want to know is your opinions. I may be sticking with this style because its more fun and the hair is really challenging O.o Anyway if you can just post a message on my journal giving my your opinion on what style you think is better and what you like more. I can try and do both, but I wont improve as fast if I just focus on one for now.
^ Exactly... The new style is great, but I wouldn't abandon the old one, either. It's good to have some variety in styles... Many of the great modern artists had several styles. Picasso was excellent at realism, for instance. He just chose to play around with abstract forms, and even then he changed the way he did things every few years.
My opinion is keep doing the stuff you have been doing, evolve them both... And also try other styles to help you develop more.

I really do like the Tifa style, but I wouldn't say you should only just do that style--'cause your old one was really nice, too. ^__^ You can do both! And then it'll make you a more rounded artist so you'll be skilled at, like, everything! *faint*

Do whatever you want, but always experiment with new things, even if it's just small stuff within the same style -- that's often where you improve most.

I'm just saying to keep experimenting new things -- don't stop at one place, even if you like it a lot more. I've found I love my Rune Master style the most, but I still try other stuff.

Nobody says you have to stick to just ONE style, switch around until you find something you like.
